Ferran is taking the safety of our Ferran Family, our clients and community very seriously. Like you, we are closely monitoring COVID-19, also known as the Coronavirus, and staying informed on the recommendations from health care experts, the CDC and the WHO. At a time when health and safety is of paramount concern, we wanted to provide some assurance of the steps we are taking with both our office and field personnel to comply with CDC guidelines and to help protect our employees and customers.
Each of our technicians has been questioned regarding their, and their immediate family members’, current health (temperature, known symptoms…). They have also been required to share their recent travel and future travel plans with us. We have a generous paid leave program and technicians are encouraged to stay home if they experience any symptoms of COVID-19 or believe they have been exposed to the virus.
All employees have been told that it is a condition of their employment to wash their hands as per the CDC and to follow the advice as it is handed down daily with regard to social distancing. They will employ the six-foot rule when entering your home and business whenever possible.
Each technician’s vehicles will be stocked with personal protection equipment including gloves and anti-bacterial items which will be used at the client’s discretion for as long as they are available to us.
Our efforts will continue to evolve with each change the CDC recommends going forward. There may come a time when non-essential work will not be possible though we are not there yet. We are committed to keeping our Ferran Family and our loyal clients safe throughout this very daunting time in our history.
